This garnet needed the right support to highlight the color of the stone, and also show off the effect of the John Dyer StarBrite cut.
The result of hours of work is this delicate-looking but strong double-tipped prong effect that keeps the garnet securely in place, with the companion diamonds tucked up beside. It is almost as if the diamonds are reaching out with golden arms to hug the garnet in place.
