While visiting Burma, Laurie’s customer fell in love – with a sapphire.
The gem was set vertically on a ring, but despite the that,
the stone was too beautiful to leave behind.
Laurie’s design turned the sapphire horizontal,
dramatically improving the ability to admire the gemstone.
The design paired the diamonds together on each side.
